Parklands Tuesday and Thursday Night Social Competitions Parklands Sport Centre run a womens and mixed social netball competition at Moore Park. Games are played all year round, with one comp played on a Tuesday night and another played on a Thursday night. Both womens and mixed are available on each night. This is a purely social comp, with pretty much ALL standards from the totally hopeless to the very good. The comps go for 12 weeks, including finals, and a new comp will start literally the week after an old comp finishes so you get continuous netball if you want to keep going. Occasionally this comp can be a little bit disorganised during the first week or so till things settle down and sometimes the umpiring is also what you might call "social" but it's for a fun comp so it always ends up OK. Tuesday Competition IMPORTANT DATES 29 June - Registration and Payments Close 2 July - Team lists are released (unless registering as a full team) 5/6 July - Draw for Round 1 is released 6 July - FIRST GAME! FEES First thing to do is get your fees organised. You can select to pay via Direct Deposit (EFT) or Credit Card payment. If you wish to pay via Direct Deposit or via Credit Card you will need the appropriate forms. They are available HERE. Please follow the instructions very carefully to ensure we process your payment and allocate it against your name properly. If you need to check how much to pay then please have a look at the Fees section of our website, or email our treasurer Steve for confirmation. You MUST pay your fees in full before we will register you into a team. COMPETITION INFORMATION Unlike our RNA winter and summer comps, players wishing to play in the social competitions are not required to attend a grading session. Individuals wishing to play will be placed into a team based on the previous playing history noted in the registration form.
